Frequently asked questions
Why might numbers or dates change?
CSV values are kept as text to preserve leading zeros, dates, phone numbers and IDs. Text such as =1+1 is not executed as a formula. Change cell types in your spreadsheet editor if calculations are needed.
Does CSV contain multiple sheets or Excel formulas?
CSV is a text table, not a multi-sheet formatted workbook. Conversion cannot restore charts, cell styling or formulas that are absent from the source.
